Bursaries and hardship grants so that every student offered a place at Wrenfield can take it — and thrive once they're here.

Every year we meet brilliant students who almost didn't come. Not because they weren't good enough, but because the numbers didn't add up: rent, books, a laptop that doesn't crash mid-essay, a train fare home at Christmas.

The Open Doors Fund closes that gap. Last year it supported 64 Wrens with bursaries, emergency grants and travel funding. One of them, a first-generation student reading Engineering, told us: "It meant I could stop counting every pound and start counting on myself."

Demand has grown faster than the fund. Today, your gift goes straight to students who need it this year — not in some distant future. No gift is too small; together they open doors.

Impact levels:

• £15 — A week of core textbooks for a first-year student

• £40 — A return train fare home for the holidays

• £100 — A month's emergency food support

• £250 — A reliable laptop for a student starting their course

• £1,000 — A full term's hardship grant
